Yes, many of us have dealt with stress, anxiety, and life changes before. Some of those things are hard to talk about. Sometimes we feel ashamed and guilty for struggling, for not knowing how to change the things that keep us stuck. You don't have to figure it alone.
I work with individuals who have just entered adulthood, those who've counted several decades, and everyone in between. And I remember those feelings of being stuck, feeling lost, and feeling like I should be feeling this way. Working with a therapist was one of the best choices I made in my life and created a passion for working with others who are struggling and need a little extra support on their own life paths.
Are you and your partner struggling with a pattern that you can’t seem to change?
Do you feel like things are great, and suddenly, somehow, your communication just seems to miss the mark?
Have the same issues in your relationship come up time and time again?
Are you grappling with work, parenting, or other stressors that keep impacting the quality of your relationship?
Relationship therapy might be the extra support you need to get your relationship back on track.
What is Neurodivergence?
Neurodivergence (ND) refers to natural variations in how the brain works. It encompasses conditions such as ADHD, Autism, CPTSD, and more.
Neurodivergent therapy means that your neurotype is validated and your therapist can respect, acknowledge, and understand the unique ways you move through the world. Many of us are not only misunderstood, but also feel disconnected in therapy because our experience of the world is different than what is "typical", or certain techniques don't work for us. Affirming therapy works with what works for you, without shame and expectation. This can include sensory needs, pacing of therapy, explaining a therapy intervention, or finding ways to safely reconnect with the body that are not overwhelming.
I am able to offer Reiki as a part of our therapeutic work at your request. Many clients find it especially useful in grounding and resourcing work. This is entirely optional.
Reiki is a form of energy healing that originated in Japan in the early 20th century. The practice involves the use of energy to channel healing vibrations to the recipient, aiming to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. In psychotherapy, Reiki can be used as a complementary approach to help individuals manage stress, anxiety, and emotional blockages. By fostering a sense of relaxation and balance, Reiki supports the therapeutic process, enhancing self-awareness and emotional resilience, and potentially accelerating healing and personal growth.
